Yet again, college baseball opens the season staring up at Vanderbilt in the Top 25 rankings. 

For the second consecutive year, Vanderbilt enters as the preseason No. 1. The Commodores ultimately made good on that ranking a year ago, beating Michigan in a thrilling 2019 College World Series final. Their title defense begins in just over three weeks.

The ACC (eight teams) and SEC (seven teams) are again well-represented in the Top 25.
