Brewers Call Up RHP Tobias Myers

Milwaukee called up RHP Tobias Myers on Wednesday. The 25-year-old has quite the story. A sixth-round pick by the Orioles in 2016, Myers spent eight years in the minors and, at one time, was perhaps best known as the player traded by the Rays to the Guardians in exchange for Junior Caminero. But Myers signed a minor league deal with the Brewers in 2023 and has performed well since, striking out 168 batters over 137.2 innings with Double-A Biloxi last season. He carried that momentum into 2024 with Triple-A Nashville, where he displayed intriguing fastball characteristics and a useful three-pitch mix.
