When Was Your Favorite MLB Team Last On The Cover Of Baseball America?

Reigning National League MVP Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves graces the cover of our upcoming May 2024 issue of Baseball America.

He’s the first Brave to be featured on our cover in almost SIX YEARS … dating back to August 2018, when Acuña and Ozzie Albies were still young prospects featured as the “Baby Braves.”

(You’ll note that cover also touts a young up-and-comer named Juan Soto …)

The Braves’ six-year drought might seem extreme, but there are actually eight other MLB teams whose last BA covers were even longer ago.

In reverse chronological order, here’s the last time each MLB team was represented on our cover, including the team that has gone the longest—way back to June 2016. (The two main rules for this: One, the player/team had to be the most prominent image on the cover, and two, Draft Preview issues did not count, because the players had not been selected by an MLB team yet.)
