Savannah Bananas 2026 Schedule Gets Bigger

After taking the Savannah Bananas and their sister teams to larger and larger venues over the past two years, this year Banana Ball is becoming a six-team league.
With a schedule announcement to their Grayson Stadium home in Savannah, Banana Ball is expanding to become the Banana Ball Championship League. Each team will play a 60-game schedule, finishing with the Banana Bowl Championship in October.
The 2025 Banana Ball Championship is still to be settled as the Firefighters will face the Party Animals on Oct. 11.
In addition to the Savannah Bananas, Texas Tailgaters, Party Animals and the Firefighters, the 2026 schedule will add two new teams. One of the new teams is the Loco Beach Coconuts. Negro Leagues Museum president Bob Kendrick introduced the Indianapolis Clowns, which pay homage the last surviving Negro Leagues team.
The Coconuts announced also the long-time MLB outfielder Shane Victorino will the the team’s “Prime Time Coach” while Phillies star Ryan Howard will be the Clowns “Prime Time Coach.”
Banana Ball has shown that it can fill football stadiums as well as MLB ballparks. Now, they effectively cover the country, and they have plenty of football stadiums on the schedule. The Bananas Ball League’s schedule will travel to 75 different stadiums in 45 different states in 2026. (Sorry Alaska, Hawaii, N.J., Vermont and Wyoming).
The league will play in 14 MLB stadiums, 10 football stadiums with the expectation of drawing (if they continue to sell out as they have) over 3 million fans.
The Texas Tailgaters’ game at College Station will aim to be the first 100,000 fan game in Banana Ball history, when they play at Kyle Field, which seats 102,000 fans. The Bananas trip to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn. could equal that as it seats 101,905. The tour will also head to Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Ala.
The Bananas will play 30 games in Savannah, although some dates have not yet been announced.
The ticket lottery for 2026 is now open and will close on Oct. 31.
