After a mostly cold summer, Phillies prospect Aidan Miller busted out in a big way in August. In 22 games that month, he hit .348/.454/.629 with 13 doubles and four home runs. In his first September game, the trend continued. He led off Reading’s series-opener with Hartford with a home run, his 13th of the year. The blast accounted for all of his team’s offense during an eventual 2-1 loss to the Yard Goats, but it also helped Miller add another exclamation point to his season-ending flourish.
