Mike Sirota Keeps On Thumping
When the Dodgers acquired Mike Sirota from the Reds, they were betting they could help him recapture the type of upside he showed when he was firmly in the mix to be taken with the No. 1 overall pick last summer. So far, so good. The outfielder has nestled in nicely at High-A Great Lakes, where he’s part of a flock of talented prospects that also includes Zyhir Hope and Josue De Paula. Sirota collected three hits on Tuesday, including his fifth home run since joining the Midwest League, drove in three runs, scored twice and worked a walk.
