Dodgers Move Mike Sirota To 60-Day IL
As outlined in the latest installment of Minor League Transactions, the Dodgers transferred outfielder Mike Sirota to the 60-day injured list on July 10, effectively ending his season. The 22-year-old appeared to injure his knee on a slide into second base during a July 5 game for High-A Great Lakes. Sirota played 59 games this season between Great Lakes and Low-A Rancho Cucamonga, batting .333/.452/.616 with 13 home runs and five stolen bases.
