Slowly, Dodgers top prospect Josue De Paula has begun to turn his raw power into game production. He has some of the best raw juice in the minor leagues, but he’s never topped more than a dozen homers in a season—granted he’s topped 100 games just once—in his first four full years before 2026. Now, as one of the youngest players in Double-A, it’s all starting to click.

De Paula closed May with his first multi-homer game of the year, and on Thursday he clubbed his first longball of June. The blast got him to nine for the season, just three off the season-high he established in 2025. Amid a glut of blue-clad outfield prospects, De Paula has placed himself among the game’s elite.
