2026 International Signing Bonus Pools For Each MLB Team

Major League Baseball has informed teams what their international bonus pools are for the 2026 international signing period, which begins on Jan. 15 and is open through through Dec. 15, 2026. Bonuses of $10,000 or less are exempt from the bonus pools.
Teams that signed a free agent who turned down a qualifying offer have their bonus pools reduced by $500,000. That was the case for the Red Sox (Alex Bregman), Padres (Nick Pivetta) and Blue Jays (Anthony Santander).
Teams that exceed the Competitive Balance Tax threshold lose $1 million from their pool for signing a free agent who rejected a qualifying offer. That was the case for the Mets (Juan Soto), Yankees (Max Fried), Giants (Willy Adames) and Astros (Christian Walker).
