Dustin DeMuth

DeMuth was a key piece to the Hoosiers' 2013 College World Series team, hitting .377 with 24 doubles for one of the country's more offensive clubs. DeMuth went in the eighth round to the Twins last year but angered area scouts when he failed to sign. DeMuth had another strong season as a senior, hitting .381 entering regional play. He runs well for his size and makes consistent contact to the gaps, using an inside-out approach at times. DeMuth's consistency has improved defensively but he has fringy hands and range to go with good arm strength.
