Futrell stood out in high school for his projectable frame and advanced feel for pitching. Now listed at 6-foot-5, 200 pounds, Futrell has lived up to his reputation as a strike thrower, and managed a sub-6% walk rate in each of his two seasons with Vanderbilt.
