  Track Record: The Dodgers signed Ko out of Taiwan in June 2024 and let him get his feet wet for nine games in the Dominican Summer League. After an offseason to rest, Ko split his first full season between the Arizona Complex League and Low-A Rancho Cucamonga. He was outstanding in the ACL, including league-best marks with a .445 on-base percentage and 1.026 OPS, but faced a bit more resistance once he reached the California League.
  
  Scouting Report: Despite the gaudy numbers, Ko’s game needed plenty of polish during his time in the ACL. As the summer wore on, he opened his stance, adjusted his bat path and began to use the whole field more often. All of those changes helped accentuate his knowledge of the strike zone and knack for delivering the barrel. His discerning eye stayed intact once he reached full-season ball, but he struggled against both fastballs and changeups at the level. Well-executed offspeed pitches often lead to pitfalls in young players, but the issues against fastballs might stem in part from a dip in bat speed scouts noticed in the season’s final months. After playing mostly center field in Arizona, Ko spent the bulk of his time in the Cal League manning left field. His array of average marks for his defense and speed likely puts him there long term.
  
  The Future: Ko should return to Low-A to begin 2026 for more seasoning against the kind of stuff that troubled him toward the end of the year. He has the look of a second-division regular with a touch more upside.
