Topps’ Popular ‘Fanatics Blaster’ Returns For 2025 Series 1

Update, Tuesday Feb. 4: Fanatics Blasters are now also available for preorder on the main Fanatics website.
A baseball signed by Dylan Crews or Jackson Chourio, or a jersey signed by Pete Crow-Armstrong or Austin Riley, might not be the kind of thing you’d expect to pull out of a box of baseball cards.
But those are four of the 30 chases (one for each MLB team) collectors will be able to hunt for when the popular “Fanatics Blaster” value boxes return for Topps 2025 Series 1 baseball cards.
Introduced last year, the “Fanatics Blasters” include redemption cards for autographed baseballs, bats, photos and more in 1 out of every 261 boxes.
And the version for Topps 2025 Series 1 is now available for preorder exclusively in the Fanatics app (not yet their site) for $29.99 each.
Among the other redemptions in the product:
- Autographed bats from Juan Soto, Fernando Tatis Jr., Paul Molitor and Wade Boggs
- Autographed baseballs from Ichiro Suzuki, Rickey Henderson and Mike Schmidt
- Autographed helmets from Julio Rodriguez and Mike Trout

There’s no word yet on when Fanatics blasters might also be available on Fanatics.com, but the app lists a shipment date of “no later than Feb. 26” (the official Series 1 release date is Feb. 12).
For anyone new to the Fanatics app, here are a few “pro tips” to keep in mind, as Fanatics is trying to increase traffic to the app, so they have sprinkled in deals and offers along the way (and these are all subject to change, so check before placing any orders):
- Fanatics often offers $5 in Fancash credit to people downloading and using the app for the first time
- Once you’re signed into the app, go to your “account” page, and click on “challenges” … depending on the day, you can usually activate offers that will score you free Fancash, often by playing the free in-app games or by spending a certain amount of money in the app.
- And be warned: most discount codes advertised on Fanatics do NOT apply to baseball cards, so be ready for that
In addition to the possibility of the memorabilia redemptions, the Fanatics blasters will come with more cards (108 total, compared to 84) than regular blasters.
Last year’s Fanatics blasters came with exclusive aqua parallels; it is not yet known if this year’s blasters will come with a similar exclusive. Materials released by Topps have only indicated the possibility of “Spring Training parallels,” which will be inserted into both types of blasters.
