Cubs’ Owen Caissie Hits First MLB Home Run
Cubs outfielder Owen Caissie homered as part of a two-hit game in the first game of yesterday’s doubleheader.
It was Caissie’s first MLB home run and it provided a big blow, as it extended the Cubs’ lead to 6-4, a lead that held up.
Caissie also went 1-for-2 with an RBI in the nightcap. He’s hitting .286/.286/.500 in 14 plate appearances since his call-up.
