Royals rookie catcher Carter Jensen homered to break a 1-1 tie against the Guardians in the sixth inning Monday. Kansas City never surrendered the lead and held on to win 4-2. The blast was Jensen’s second home run of the season, this one hit at 111.2 mph and traveling 359 feet to right field. He went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI in the game. Jensen tallied two other hard-hit balls in the game: a 110 mph single and 100 mph groundout.
