Baseball America’s staff has been hitting the back fields in Florida and Arizona to watch minor league spring training and talk to evaluators, coaches and players.
On today’s Prospect Podcast, JJ Cooper talks with Geoff Pontes about what he saw in Florida during his time at Mets, Cardinals, Marlins, Astros and Nationals camps. After that JJ speaks with Josh Norris. Norris just returned from an Arizona spring training trip where he saw minor leaguers for all 15 Arizona-based teams. He highlights some of the standouts he saw as well as a couple of organizations that surprised.
