Red Sox RHP Continues To Perform At Triple-A

Red Sox pitching prospect Richard Fitts tossed six efficient innings for Triple-A Worcester on Wednesday, striking out five in the effort. Fitts has allowed just four runs over 15.1 innings this season while striking out 13 batters to just two walks. Fitts needed just 80 pitches to navigate the Durham lineup, allowing four hits and one run on a home run to outfielder Kameron Misner. Fitts sat 93-94 mph on his fastball showing 18-20 inches of induced vertical break while mixing in a slider in the mid 80s, a changeup and a handful of cutters. Fitts could be an option for Boston at some point this summer.
