James Wood Keeps Going Good

Nationals No. 2 prospect James Wood—part of the blockbuster trade that sent Juan Soto to San Diego—has been molten hot this spring. He kept that early stretch going on Leap Day with his third longball of the Grapefruit League. This one, off of Cardinals starter Kyle Gibson, left the bat at 111 mph and traveled a projected 411 feet.
