Average Exit Velocity, Fastball Velocity For Top 100 Prospects



Accompanying the release of the 2022 Top 100 Prospects list are the demographics for the Top 100 Prospects, based on position, nationality, source and, for players who were drafted, draft round.

Here, we take a look at the average exit velocity and fastball velocity for the Top 100 Prospects. Players are listed by their rank on the Top 100. 

Tooled-up Pirates shortstop Oneil Cruz led all hitters with an average exit velocity of 94 mph, while flamethrowing Reds righthander Hunter Greene led all pitchers with an average fastball velocity of 99 mph.
