Stuhr is a broad-shouldered 6-foot-1, 195-pound righthander who opened the 2024 season with Portland in impressive fashion after striking out 12 batters in five innings against San Diego State. Stuhr has a solid delivery and four-pitch mix that includes a mid-90s fastball that has been up to 98, as well as a mid-80s slider, curveball around 80 and a mid-80s changeup. Each of his secondary pitches have shown solid swing-and-miss traits though his control is solidly below-average. He’ll need to improve his fastball command to most effectively set up the other pieces of his arsenal.
