  Fields an athletic center fielder/righthander with an enticing 6-foot-3, 185-pound frame who was a football quarterback in high school and whose sister ran track at Texas, where he's committed. The lefthanded hitter has a long ways to go, but is easy to dream on because he has loose, athletic hands at the plate, excellent hand-eye coordination and plus speed. His swing needs some retooling and he'll need to develop better strike-zone judgement, but Fields could entice a team looking for upside. If he makes it to college, as seems likely due to the lack of polish in his bat, he likely would pitch as well.
