After a breakout sophomore seasons where he was named MAC player of the year, Longo struggled with a wood bat in the Cape Cod League last summer and saw his power numbers dip in his junior season at Ohio. Longo posts above-average run times and runs the bases well, but he struggles to fit the pro profile. He's a bat-first left fielder who struggled defensively in left and lacks the arm to play right field. Longo can hit--he's posted averages better than .355 in each of the past two seasons with a flat, line-drive swing. That hitting will get him drafted, but his lack of pop will mean he'll have to wait a little while to hear his name called.
