Santos has rather quietly put together an impressive collegiate career. The 6-foot-1 righthander has a career 3.88 ERA with 258 strikeouts across 201.2 innings. This spring, he anchored Bethune-Cookman’s rotation and pitched his way to a 3.51 ERA with 138 strikeouts in 97.1 innings. He doesn’t possess premium velocity, and averaged just 90 mph on his fastball this spring, though he can run it up to 94. He also throws a low-80s slider, a mid-80s changeup and an upper-70s curveball.
