Rogers' brother Taylor was an 11th-round pick of the Twins last year out of Kentucky and got the advantaged genes for baseball because he's a lefthander. Tyler Rogers is a righty who had a tremendously successful college career after transferring to Austin Peay after two years at Garden City (Kan.) CC. The 6-foot-5, 187-pounder Rogers has a submarine arm slot that gives him good sink on his fastball, which at times reaches the upper 80s. He led Division I in saves in 2013 while tying the single-season record with 23 saves. He doesn't throw a ton of strikes and walked 63 in 109 innings over the last two seasons.
