A physical, 6-foot-1, 200-pound righthander, Jones is a potential top-ten round senior sign who has a solid three-pitch mix and a track record of solid strike throwing with Toledo. He increased his fastball velocity this spring and sits around 90 mph, getting the pitch up to 94-95 at its best, and pairs it with a hard power curveball in the low 80s with 12-to-6 shape and a mid-80s splitter that falls off the table.
