The 6-foot-3, 210-pound righthander is a strong, hard-throwing hurler who has been inconsistent in the zone. The 20-year-old had Tommy John surgery in high school and has since been into the mid 90s with his fastball, accompanied by a hard curveball, slider and a changeup that has been an afterthought. Elliott threw 15 innings over five games in the Northwoods League this year, posting a 4.20 ERA with 17 walks and 17 strikeouts over that span.
