School: Virginia Drafted/Committed: Never Drafted
Age At Draft: 20.8
BA Grade: 45/High
Arroyo was a standout two-way player in high school who helped Florida powerhouse Stoneman Douglas win back-to-back state championships as a junior and senior. He started his college career with Florida, but played only briefly in a limited reliever role, before hitting and pitching with Pasco-Hernando State (Fla.) JC in 2024 and then transferring to Virginia for his 2025 season. Listed at 6-foot-2, 225 pounds, Arroyo is a filled out and physical lefthanded hitter, first baseman and lefthanded reliever. In 2025, Arroyo slashed .291/.361/.519 with 11 home runs hitting in the middle of Virginia’s lineup. He also threw 12.2 innings as a starter and reliever but struggled with his control. Arroyo’s pro future is as a hitter. He has plus raw power with top-end exit velocities that approach 113 mph and can hit towering home runs to the pull side. Arroyo’s power does come with an aggressive approach and a solid amount of swing-and-miss tendencies that lead to questions about the quality of his pure hit tool. Arroyo is a below-average runner who fits best at first base where he is a fine defender with solid arm strength. Some scouts think he could move around enough to get a chance in a corner outfield spot. On the mound, Arroyo is a low-slot lefty who throws a low-90s fastball that touches 94 and also mixes in a low-80s slider and mid-80s changeup with below-average control.
Scouting Grades: Hit: 40 | Power: 55 | Run:40 | Field: 45 | Arm: 50. Fastball: 50 | Slider: 55 | Changeup: 50 | Control: 40.

Arroyo helped Florida powerhouse Stoneman Douglas High win back-to-back state championships as a junior and senior, then played at a high level as a hitter and pitcher with Pasco-Hernando State (Fla.) JC in 2024. He transferred to Virginia for the 2025 season and is expected to play a key role in the team’s lineup and rotation. A 6-foot-2, 215-pound lefthanded hitter and thrower, Arroyo has huge raw power and a fastball that’s been up to 93-94 mph. He earned plenty of scouting buzz for his two-way exploits in the 2024 fall, though a full spring season will help crystallize whether teams prefer him as a hitter or pitcher in pro ball.
