The son of long-time MLB catcher Toby Hall, Tayden Hall also catches, although he's played as much first base as catcher and some scouts view him as a future outfielder. Tayden is 6-foot-4, 215 pounds. He is a pretty pure hitter, using the entire field and rarely striking out. He hit .364/.484/.636 this year at Manatee with 40 walks and only 22 strikeouts in 173 at-bats. He was hitting .313 in the Draft League at the time of the draft.
