Marciano is a low-slot lefty who made 14 starts with Virginia Tech in 2025. His peripherals were better than his 6.08 ERA indicated, and after transferring to Auburn in 2026 he started to find better results—along with more whiffs—as the team’s Friday starter. Marciano sits around 90 mph and will touch 93 with a fastball that features solid armside life, and he gets most of his misses with a mid-70s sweeping slider. He also throws an upper-70s changeup and low-80s cutter. He’s already a strong strike-thrower, and could have the sort of physical projection to allow his stuff to make a jump in the coming years.
