Youngest Minor League Players By League In 2021

Every year, Baseball America likes to take a look at the youngest players at each level of the minor leagues on Opening Day. Traditionally, we include the major leagues on this list, too, but since MLB Opening Day was a month ago, we're including only the minor leagues this season.

The youngest player in the minor leagues is Marlins righthander Eury Perez, who turned 18 just weeks before Opening Day. Another notable quirk because of all the callups without a minor league season in 2020 is two of the youngest players in Triple-A (the Nationals' Luis Garcia and the Rangers' Leody Taveras) have already passed the threshold for consideration on prospect rankings.
