Background
Most hard-throwing young pitchers have to work to find the strike zone. Pinto has always had a knack for throwing strikes which has made him a consistent performer as he climbed through the Phillies’ system.
What to Watch For
Pinto’s 91-95 mph fastball and changeup are both above-average pitches already, but he should be able to stay a starter if his slider continues to improve.
