Lefthander Josh Tols is a 27-year-old native of Australia who pitched for Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo., and then in independent leagues from 2014 to 2016. He also has spent time in the winter Australian Baseball League in each season since 2014. The 5-foot-7 Tols has logged 176 innings in indy leagues, primarily the American Association, and 167 in the ABL.
