Baseball America Prospect Report -- September 6, 2019

Daniel Johnson, OF, Indians. Johnson had two hits in four at-bats for Triple-A Columbus in their victory over Gwinnett. He had a base knock and a double while driving in two runs and scoring once as well. Johnson hit well across two levels of the upper minors this year, batting .306/.371/.496 during the regular season with Columbus.

Kameron Misner, OF, Marlins. Misner batted cleanup in low Class A Clinton’s victory over Kane County. The center fielder collected three base knocks and scored three times as well. Misner had no troubles adjusting offensively to his first stint in pro ball, as the outfielder got on-base at a .388 clip in 42 games across two levels.

Matt Allan, RHP, Mets. Allan was one of four pitchers to combine on a 1-0 shutout for short-season Brooklyn over the Hudson Valley Renegades. The righthander tossed two clean innings, allowing no hits and no walks. It was nice redemption for Allan, who gave up five hits in two innings during his one appearance in the regular season after being promoted to Brooklyn.

Triston Casas, 1B, Red Sox. Casas had two hits in four at-bats for high Class A Salem in their win over Wilmington. The first baseman delivered a double to left field in the bottom of the second inning followed by an RBI single in the third inning. Casas had a good season for low Class A Greenville, hitting .254/.349/.472 with 49 extra-base hits before his promotion to Salem.
