Baseball America Prospect Report -- June 6, 2019

Brady Feigl, RHP, Athletics. Fiegl fired eight scoreless innings for high Class A Stockton. The righthander saw plenty of traffic on the bases, allowing seven hits but didn’t walk anyone. Feigl matched his season high with nine strikeouts before making his exit. Oakland’s No. 26 prospect has had good control as of late, not walking a batter in three of his last four starts.

Chance Adams, RHP, Yankees. The Yankees' No. 14 prospect tossed his first career shutout for Triple-A Scranton Wilkes-Barre. The righthander allowed just three singles and a walk, not allowing any base runner to get past first base. Adams has now tossed back-to-back scoreless starts, and has went at least six innings in each of his last five outings.

Kyle Lewis, OF, Mariners. Lewis had two hits and two walks for Double-A Arkansas. The cleanup hitter drove in three runs and came around to score three times as well. Lewis smacked a double and capped off his night with a solo home run in the ninth inning. Seattle’s No. 8 prospect is 12-for-36 over his last 10 games.

Edward Cabrera, RHP, Marlins. Cabrera allowed just one hit over six scoreless innings for high Class A Jupiter. The righthander made the most of his curveball, which enabled him to put away hitters once he got ahead of them. Cabrera collected five strikeouts while allowing just two walks. Miami’s No. 8 prospect has tossed at least six innings in each of his last three starts, needing fewer and fewer pitches to navigate through each outing.

Freddy Valdez, OF, Mets. Valdez had two hits in four at-bats for the Dominican Summer League Mets. The outfielder doubled and blasted a home run, driving in four runs on the afternoon. The Mets’ No. 28 prospect is off to a good start in his first season of pro ball with four extra-base hits and seven RBIs in his first four games.

Trevor Larnach, DH, Twins. Larnach has three hits and two walks for high Class A Fort Myers. Larnach had a single and two doubles, driving in two runs and coming around to score once as well. The Twins’ No. 5 prospect has built up a four-game hit streak.

Tony Dibrell, RHP, Mets. Dibrell tossed five and a third scoreless innings for high Class A Port St. Lucie. He navigated around five hits and three walks while collecting five strikeouts. The Mets’ No. 24 prospect has allowed just one earned run across his last 10 and a third frames.
