Arizona Fall League Prospect Report -- September 27, 2019

Royce Lewis, 3B, Twins. Lewis had two hits in four at-bats for Salt River. He collected a single and a double while driving in a run and coming around to score once as well. Primarily a middle infielder, Lewis has already seen over 25 innings at the hot corner in the Arizona Fall League thus far.

Jose Garcia, SS, Reds. Garcia drove in a run on a ground out while also drawing a walk and coming around to score once for Glendale. The shortstop has excellent skills defensively, and his bat is trending positive after he hit .280/.343/.436 with 46 extra-base hits against Florida State League pitching.

Dakota Chalmers, RHP, Twins. Chalmers tossed 1 1/3 innings for Salt River as he continues to build up innings after undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2018. The righthander yielded mixed results—he struck out four batters, but allowed four earned runs on three hits and two walks. Having already tossed 34 2/3 innings this season, it makes sense for Chalmers to see shorter stints as he continues to regain his form.
