Colson Montgomery, SS, White Sox – The White Sox’s No. 1 prospect hit a walkoff RBI single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning to lead Glendale to a come-from-behind, 5-4 victory over Salt River. Mariners prospect Corey Rosier drew a bases-loaded walk to tie the score 4-4 in the bottom of the inning, and Montgomery followed with a 10-pitch at-bat that ended with the game-winning, line-drive single to center.

Aaron Sabato, 1B, Twins – Sabato went 2-for-3 with two home runs in Glendale’s 5-4 win over Salt River. The 2020 first-rounder hit a solo homer off Braves righthander Darius Vines in the second inning and followed with another solo homer off Vines in the fourth. Sabato now holds sole possession of the AFL lead with seven home runs, surpassing Glendale and Twins teammate Kala’i Rosario.

Joseph Hernandez, RHP, Brewers – Hernandez pitched four innings with one hit and one run allowed, two walks and four strikeouts to pick up the win in Surprise’s 5-3 win over Scottsdale. The 23-year-old righthander allowed an RBI single in the second inning to Giants outfielder Carter Howell but nothing else. He struck out the side in the fourth to finish on a high note.
