An improvement, albeit a small one landed the Tigers in a third-place finish of 77-85, their first 70-plus win season since 2016. And more help is on the way.

With 2019 draft pick Riley Greene and 2020 draft pick Spencer Torkelson poised to make a case for seeing Detroit fairly quickly in 2022, the Tigers, in turn, are able to bolster an aging lineup and continue to cultivate the development of the young arms that they have been working to acquire.
