2020 San Diego Padres Instructional League Roster

At 51 players, the Padres boast a robust roster. Their group includes all six of their 2020 draft picks, including first-rounder Robert Hassell III.

Beyond the 2020 picks, just three healthy players among the remaining members of the Padres' midseason Top 30 prospects made the cut for the instructional league. They are: C.J. Abrams, Tucupita Marcano, Reginald Preciado and Blake Hunt.

Players who were on the midseason Top 30 but did not get invited to instructs include outfielders Joshua Mears, Tirso Ornelas and Hudson Head.

The team also brought 2019 sixth-rounder Drake Fellows, a righthander from Vanderbilt who did not pitch in an official game last summer after signing.
