2018 NAIA Tournament Field Announced

On Saturday, the NAIA revealed its 45-team field for the 2018 NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round. The 45 schools will be split into nine different regions, with five squads in each region.

The opening round began on May 14 and runs until May 17. This is the 10th annual installment of the competition. There were 31 teams that earned automatic bids, consisting of regular season conference champions, conference tournament champions and tournament runner-ups. The other 14 teams in the field received at-large bids.

The victors of the nine regions will compete along with Lewis-Clark State from May 25-June 1 at the Avista-NAIA Baseball World Series in Lewiston, Idaho.
