2018 MLB Draft Best Available For Day 3

As we get ready for the beginning of the third day of the draft, here are the best available players remaining on the BA 500 draft rankings. A number of these players will get to school, but some of them will also end up being drafted in the early rounds today. In the top 10 rounds, teams know that if they fail to sign a player, they lose the bonus allotment. There are no such bonus allotment penalties today, so teams can take bigger risks in the 11th through 15th rounds, using money they saved by drafting lower-cost seniors on day two of the draft.

Vanderbilt has four signees who are top 100 prospects and have not been drafted. Louisiana State has nine signees from the BA 500 who have not been drafted. Florida State, Louisville, Southern California, Texas and Texas A&M each have six signees who are undrafted after the first two days of the draft.
