As an above-average runner with above-average to plus arm strength in the outfield, Santana had significant helium after a strong fall. He has a simple swing that's geared for line drive, but his above-average bat speed, loose wrists and natural timing give him a chance to develop more power as he matures and begins to fill out his frame. Santana pressed a bit in the spring but still ended up batting .362/.479/.606 in Florida's competitive 7A classification. He could be a high pick in three years if he chooses to honor his Florida International commitment, but he's expected to be signable and some teams see him as a quality value pick later on in the draft.
