Cooke was the everyday center fielder for Coastal Carolina's 2016 national championship team, then was the best player on the Chanticleers as a junior, though the team missed out on a regional berth. Undersized at 5-foot-10, 175 pounds, Cooke has some looseness in his swing improved from three home runs to 10 while maintaining a similar contact rate. He's still a below-average power hitter but makes enough hard contact to project as an average hitter. He has some tools despite his lack of physicality, including plus speed and defense in center field and an average arm. Scouts have some doubts in Cooke being an everyday player, but he may fit as a fourth outfielder similar to the similarly sized Shane Robinson.
