Isaacs was a breakout star of the Florida Diamond Club last October, after not playing in national summer showcases. The Bahamian moved to the U.S. following the path of his cousin, Antoan Richardson, who traveled stateside to attend American Heritage High before being drafted by the Giants out of Vanderbilt in 2005 and reaching the major leagues in 2011. His carrying tool is his top-of-the-scale speed that produces 60-yard dash times as low as 6.33 seconds. His speed gives him the potential to be a plus defender in center field and an impact basestealer. Isaacs also boasts a plus arm in center field. Though he made a good amount of contact in the fall, he has not hit well this spring. He started the year hitting leadoff before moving to the bottom third of the order. He has bat speed and a line-drive stroke but will need mechanical adjustments, especially in the lower half. At a lean, athletic 5-foot-11, 175 pounds, power will not be a part of his game. Scouts are just hoping he can develop into a marginal hitter, which would allow his other immense tools to play.
