Commit/Drafted: Never Drafted Age At Draft: 21.4 After transferring from Seminole State (Fla.) JC prior to the 2021 season, Levenson has translated a strong bat from the juco ranks to the ACC. After hitting .300 with five doubles and seven home runs in 2022, Levenson got off to a blistering start for Miami in 2023 before fading a bit down the stretch. In mid-March Levenson was hitting over .350 with more walks than strikeouts, but he finished with a .292/.316/.473 slash line, 14 home runs, an 18.7% walk rate and a 12.6% strikeout rate. Levenson stands upright in the box and has a very under control operation with minimal movement, utilizing a toe tap trigger. His barrel consistently stays in the strike zone for a long time, maximizing his window for quality contact. He’s a bit on the aggressive side in terms of swing decisions, but has sound overall contact rates and posted a 107 mph 90th percentile exit velocity. Levenson is an average to slightly above-average defender in right field and he could stick there professionally. He’s an average runner who has a slower first step, but can move well when he gets up to speed with powerful strides.

BA Grade/Risk: 40/High.
Track Record: Levenson spent two seasons with Miami, hitting .295/.406/.546. He saw a power uptick during his second season and hit 14 home runs, which earned him third-team all-Atlantic Coast Conference honors. The Cardinals drafted Levenson in the fifth round in 2023 and signed him for $381,300. Levenson was assigned to High-A Peoria out of camp in 2024 and played in 70 games, hitting .215/.317/.367 with eight home runs before a wrist injury put him on the shelf for the final two months.
Scouting Report: Levenson entered pro ball as a bat-first prospect but struggled at the plate in his debut. His swing is simple with little movement in his lower half and is top-half dominant, relying on his hands. Levenson showed strong bat-to-ball skills and a solid approach in his debut, but his quality of contact was so poor it drove down his overall line. Levenson has below-average contact quality with below-average exit velocities, which don’t allow him to take advantage of his contact and barrel accuracy skills, which are above-average. Without improved strength and raw power Levenson’s bat will be at the mercy of luck. He’s a fringe-average runner who’s limited to an outfield corner long-term.
The Future: Levenson will get another bite at the apple in 2025 as he looks to improve his power and prove he can hit.

Scouting Report: Levenson showed a combination of plate skills and average or better power both as an amateur and in his short pro sample. Levenson has a simple righthanded swing with strong wrists and loose hands which allow him to adjust to a variety of pitch types. He has a good balance of aggression and patience and rarely swings himself into outs. Levenson’s raw power is average at present and he shows the ability to get to it by hitting the ball consistently at good angles. Levenson is an average runner who could slow down to fringe-average. He has enough speed for the corner outfield where he’s a fringe-average defender with a fringe-average arm.
The Future: Levenson is an offensive-driven corner outfielder with second-division regular upside.
