Joey Spence

Spence is a 5-foot-11, 195-pound lefthanded-hitting catcher with a mature build who has shown feel to hit. He has a good, short swing with some occasional power. His fielding and arm tools are below-average at present, and it could be a challenge for him to catch at the next level. The 18-year-old has an impressive work ethic, and informed evaluators he was going to fulfill his college commitment to Notre Dame.
