Dickey's power arm has gotten plenty of attention from scouts. He has a physical frame and can reach back for 94-96 mph heat, sitting in the low 90s most of the time. He struck out 100 in 85 innings for Blinn (Texas) JC, finishing among the top 15 nationally in the NJCAA in whiffs. Although he has a clean delivery, his arm strength has intrigued as a potential back-of-the-bullpen possibility. He also throws a power breaking ball and a cutter, along with a developing changeup. Dickey is committed to Texas State.
