Gordon is a product of the up-and-coming Great Lakes Canadians, though he previously played with the Oakville Royals. An athlete with fast-twitch ability, Gordon burst onto scouts' radars with impressive performances at Tournament 12 and at the WWBA Championship in Jupiter. The righthanded hitting outfielder has a short stroke geared for line drives, and has the ability to punch the ball into the gaps with backspin. He flashes above-average bat speed and scouts project him to develop below-average power, as he already shows some ability to drive the ball deep to his pull side. Gordon is also an above-average runner and knows how to use his speed, showing strong instincts in the outfield and reading situations well on the basepaths. Scouts give Gordon excellent marks for his makeup, and many believe in his ability to develop into a solid regular. He is committed to the University of San Francisco.
