Wright was a four-year stalwart for Arkansas State, pitching as a reliever his first two seasons and then starting the last two. A 6-foot-3, 200-pounder, he's run his fastball up as high as 94 but usually sits anywhere from 87-93 mph range with a solid-average changeup. He's lacked a consistent breaking ball throughout his career. He did have a big senior season, going 6-5, 3.18 with 96 strikeouts and 26 walks in 110 innings.
