Hakanson came on strong this spring with an excellent start to the season as the Knights closer. He saved six games in seven appearances, struck out 20 batters in 8.1 innings and held opponents to one hit and one walk. Listed at 6-foot, 180 pounds, his fastball gets up to 96 mph and he pairs it with an average slider. He has a funky delivery that adds some deception and limits him to the bullpen, but he’s proven himself effective in that role and could be a quick mover in pro ball.
