  Dozier brings athleticism and plenty of projection as the center fielder has a long, lanky body with the size (6-foot-3, 180 pounds) to add some more good weight. Dozier hits with a very quiet lower half but a significant load to start his swing. Partly because of that, he's shown more swing and miss than is ideal for a hitter who projects to hit for more average than power. He is an above-average runner who should be able to stay in center field. Dozier is committed to Virginia, and is thought to be a tough pick to sign away from school.
